Scintillation, cela ne surprendra personne que Xavier Chassaing ait démarré sa carrière comme magicien et inventeur d?effets spéciaux pour trucages en temps réel. Xavier est un spécimen rare d?homme-orchestre.
Après quelques années d?apprentissage dans des studios de création et de postproduction au Canada, il réalise
Zero pour le groupe Del Wire, un premier clip récompensé par Chris Milk au Festival International des Arts du Clip Vidéo. Son sens de l?illusion et son goût du défi le poussent à développer des techniques expérimentales inédites pour retranscrire en image ses rêveries esthétiques.
Dans
Scintillation, un film réalisé entièrement seul, il combine plus de 35 000 images dans un mix inédit de stop motion et de projection mapping.
Scintillation surprend et fascine comme en atteste son succès fulgurant sur le net et dans les festivals. A suivre.

Scintillation, no one will find surprising to learn that he started his career as a magician and inventor of real-time special effects. Xavier is a rare one-man band specimen.
After years of learning in creative and postproduction studios in Canada, he directs Zero for the band Del Wire, a first music video rewarded by Chris Milk at the Festival International des Arts du Clip Video.
